Family Lawyer
Since her admission to the South African Law Courts in 2013, Joy attained a dual-qualification and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2018. She has a Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours and has worked in both commercial and family law.
Joy has found a passion for family law and successfully represented clients in all areas of family law including separation and divorce, parenting disputes and arrangements, property settlements and de-facto relationship breakdowns. She is a critical thinker, with skills to help her clients navigate the complexities of a relationship breakdown.
Possessing great compassion and empathy for her clients and being sensitive to their legal issues, Joy is aware of the emotional and financial stress clients can suffer during family law proceedings and, where possible, she strives to resolve the issues without the intervention of the Court. Joy works closely with her clients to provide practical solutions based on a comprehensive understanding of the solutions and outcomes available for them.
Joy is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and the New South Wales Young Lawyers Association.
